From Races to Relays: A Thrilling Sports Day Full of Energy and Excitement!

The 31st Annual Athletic Meet of Indian School Jalan was held on the school grounds on Thursday, November 7 2024, transforming the evening into a celebration of sportsmanship, enthusiasm, and school spirit. The school campus was filled with excitement, as students, teachers, and parents joined together to mark this special occasion.

The gathering was formally welcomed by Muhammed Febin, Deputy Sports Captain for the academic year 2024-25. The Chief Guest, Mr. Salim Khamis Al Jafferi, CEO of ORO Fisheries AL Ashkara, officially declared the Meet open in the presence of esteemed Members of the School Management Committee.

Students from KG I to Class X captivated the audience with a variety of energetic and skillful performances, including a vibrant March Past, Soul Slides, Step Up,  Human Pyramid, the Glow Flow Drill, Fit Fusion, and Sanskriti. The event reached its peak with thrilling relay races and final sprint events, celebrating the students’ talent and teamwork.

The winners of various events were honoured by the Chief Guest, who awarded medals in recognition of their achievements. As the day ended, students departed with smiles, proud of their accomplishments, as the Blue House emerged as the Champions and Green House as the runners up. The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Helen Jacob of Class X.

It was truly a day filled with passion, sportsmanship, and memories to cherish for years to come.
