Code of Conduct

GENERAL

  • The school expects all students to maintain a high degree of discipline. They should be dedicated to academics and participate in the co-curricular and extracurricular activities of the school.
  • Students are expected to be regular and punctual to school. Every student is expected to be loyal to the school and show respect to each other, the school authority and members of the staff.
  • The parents will be communicated by the class teacher on request of the student only for genuine reasons.
  • No student is allowed to leave the school premises without the permission of the school authorities.
  • Students are expected to communicate only in English during school hours as well as in the school bus.

DRESS CODE

  • Parents are requested to monitor the turn-out of their ward(s) in the morning before they set off for school.
  • Parents must ensure that the material they pick up for their ward’s uniform conforms to the school specification.
  • Boys are expected to have regular and proper haircut. Use of hair dye/gel/cream is strictly prohibited.
  • The girls must tie up their hair in two plaits with white ribbon/elastic hair bands.
  • Ensure that their shoes are polished every day.
  • On every Tuesday day students should wear white sports shoes.
  • Boys must wear pants above their waist and no baggy pants are allowed.
  • All students are expected to keep their finger nails trimmed regularly. No nail polish is allowed.
  • Girls must wear white plain socks up to their calf muscles. No designs or brand names or stripes are permitted. The skirt should be at least 3 inches below the knee.
  • Boys should avoid wearing any fancy accessories. Girls should avoid wearing gold or silver ornaments other than small earrings.
  • Students must come dressed neatly in their complete uniform every day.

ATTENDANCE

  • Late coming should be avoided at all costs except under justifiable and unforeseen circumstances.
  • In genuine cases of late coming, prior information should be given to the class teacher.
  • Any student found to be late often without any reason will be considered seriously and further disciplinary action will be taken.
  • No student is allowed to leave the school premises without the parent during school hours.
  • No student is allowed to leave the school premises without the permission of the school authorities.

SCHOOL BAG AND PROHIBITED ITEMS

  • While every effort is made to reduce the weight of the school bag, the parents and the students are expected to actively –

 Cooperate with the school in achieving this goal. The students are expected to bring only the books required for the day as per the time table.

  • Electronic gadgets are strictly prohibited in the school.
  • Carrying chewing gum and bubble gum is not permitted.
  • Avoid bringing toys or materials which may harm others.

CARE AND PROTECTION OF SCHOOL PROPERTY:

  • Students must realize that the school and its property belong to them and are provided for their comfortable stay. They shall be maintained and cared by each student with utmost responsibility.
  • Damage of any property will be considered a serious offence and necessary actions will be taken by means of warning or compensation.

EXAMINATIONS:

  • Use of unfair means in examinations is a serious offence. No student is allowed to involve in either copying or helping others to do so.
  • Mishandling of any official documents like answer sheets, report card etc., or forging signatures in any manner is strictly prohibited.
  • Parents shall monitor their wards on completion of home assignments and preparing well for examinations and also to bring the proper stationery.

SAFETY RULES IN SCHOOL AND SCHOOL BUS

The safety of your ward in the school is of utmost concern to us. It is recommended that every student makes a sincere effort to follow the school safety rules given below:

 

  • Avoid running anywhere except in the playground.
  • Always maintain a queue system.
  • Avoid walking close to parked vehicles.
  • Do not run beside or get down from a moving vehicle.
  • Board a vehicle only when it has come to a complete halt.
  • Do not stand on the seat or throw anything out of the window of a moving vehicle.
  • Do not put your head or hand out of a moving vehicle.
  • Avoid quarrelling and playing inside the vehicle.
  • Do not litter inside the bus and damage bus properties.

All the students must make themselves familiar with the rules notified for their conduct. Ignorance of the rules is no excuse for any action against the defaulters. The entire cooperation and vigilance of the Parents is inevitable in their ward’s observing the Code of Conduct prescribed by the school.
