Indian School Jalan is an educational institution that follows CBSE Curriculum. The school follows the syllabus prescribed by the central Board of Secondary Education ( CBSE – Delhi).

Our principal focus is on the holistic development of the students through steady learning progression from grade to grade and integration of various curricular areas.

In line with the competency -based educational initiatives from the CBSE and National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 the school’s curriculum expectations directly align with the age-appropriate skills and core competencies.

Course of Study

Kindergarten

The two foundational stages (KG1 & KG 2) revolve mainly around curricular areas-Literacy, Numeracy and Understanding Our World. These areas are rightly complemented and supplemented by well-designed activities for personal and social development, health and physical development and the development of the artistic and creative skills of the students.

Class I – X

The curriculum is wide-ranged with a good balance between the key-subjects such as English as the first language, Math, Science and Social Studies as the major subjects and Computer Science, Art and Physical Education (PE) as the Work Education subjects. Hindi / Arabic/ Malayalam can be opted as second language and third language. Co-scholastic area includes Happiness curriculum sessions, Various Clubs, Scouting and Guiding, yoga sessions etc.
