Indian School Jalan Celebrates 30^th Annual Day – RITMO 2023- ’24

Indian School Jalan celebrated its 30^th Annual Day – RITMO (Rhythm) – 2023- ’24 on Friday, 16 February 2024, amidst great zeal and splendor. The grand function was graced with the presence of Mr. Syed Salman, Director, Board of Directors, Indian Schools in Oman and the Director in Charge of Indian School Jalan as the Chief Guest, and Mr. Jami Srinivas Rao, President, School Management Committee, Indian School Sur as the Guest of Honour, along with Mr. Saeed TP, President, School Management Committee, Indian School Jalan and the other School Management Committee members, Mr. Fakrudheen C, Mrs. Preetha P S and Mr. Sirajudheen Chayilottu.

Ms. Susmita Mohajan, Head Girl of Indian School Jalan accorded the formal welcome to the gathering.  In his address, Chief Guest, Mr. Syed Salman, enriched the thoughts of the audience with his insightful words. Annual report, a concise account of the scholastic as well as co-scholastic activities of the academic year 2023-’24 was presented by the Principal, Mrs. Seema Sreedhar. Mr. Saeed TP, President, School Management Committee, in his presidential address, sought the cooperation of all to lift the school to the next level.  The gathering was also addressed by the guest of Honour   Mr. Jami Srinivas Rao.

The Chief Guest and the other dignitaries presented the mementos and certificates to the Toppers of Class X Board Examinations, the winners of Academic Proficiency Award and Outstanding Performance Award for the academic year 2022- ’23. The winners of Literary Luminary Award, Eclat Excellence Award, Cultural Excellence Award, Sports Individual Champions Award and the Overall Trophy winners of the Co –Scholastic for the academic year 2023-24 were also honoured in the function.

The cultural programmes performed by the students, which encompassed a medley of songs, Western dance, Egyptian dance, peacock dance, international folk dance and tutting dance, were truly captivating.

The colourful celebration of the 30^th Annual day of Indian School Jalan ended with the vote of thanks proposed by Head Boy Adithyan S.

The exhilarating show was an unforgettable experience and left a lasting impression on the minds of everyone present. It was indeed a spectacular display of talent and fervour.
