Indian School Jalan celebrated the 75^th Republic Day of India with great patriotic fervor.  The program began with the respective National Anthems of Oman and India. Mrs. Preetha P S, Academic Chairperson, SMC and Mr. Sirajudheen C, Treasurer, SMC graced the occasion as special guests. Principal Mrs. Seema Sreedhar addressed the gathering.

The cultural programs included a patriotic dance by KG students, fancy dress by the students of KG I – Class II as freedom fighters, patriotic songs by Class III-V students and a tableau that highlighted the importance of farmers, freedom fighters, literary figures and scientists who play a prominent role in building the nation. Helen Jacob, Captain, Red House, proposed the vote of thanks. Sweets were distributed to all as a part of the celebration.
