Indian School Jalan Crowns Student Leaders in the Investiture Ceremony

Indian School Jalan celebrated a momentous occasion of leadership and inspiration with its annual Investiture Ceremony on Sunday, 26 May 2024, at the school’s open hall. The investiture ceremony is a formal event in which the elected students are bestowed with positions of authority and responsibility. This ceremony serves as a platform to nurture leadership qualities, build school spirit, and encourage positive behavior among students. The function was graced by the presence of Adv. Saeed TP, the President of the School Management Committee as Chief Guest, and distinguished members of the School Management Committee, Mrs. Preetha PS and Mr. Sirajudheen C.

The investiture Ceremony for the new academic year 2024-25 started with a slow march past of the newly elected school cabinet members. The Chief Guest, Adv, Saeed TP conferred Head Boy Kailas BS, Head Girl Fathima Hiba, Sprots Captain Abhay Roshan and Cultural Coordinator Adnan VA with badges and sashes. The Deputy Captains were conferred by Mrs. Preetha P S, Academic Chairperson, School Management Committee. The House Captains and Vice Captains were conferred with badges and sashes by Mr. Sirajudheen, Treasurer, School Management Committee.

Principal Mrs. Seema Sreedhar, administered the oath to the newly formed school cabinet and handed over the School Flag to the Head Boy and the Head Girl. The young vibrant leaders pledged their oath of office with a promise that they would carry out their duties with integrity, faith and excellence.

The prefectorial body and the blooms from classes III to X were conferred with badges by their class teachers in this prestigious function.

In his address, Chief Guest. Adv. Syed T P, reminded the new office bearers to diligently shoulder responsibilities that lay ahead with dedication and devotion.

The programme concluded with the vote of thanks delivered by the Deputy Head Girl, Ayilya M.

It was a proud moment for all the Parents to witness their children being invested in great responsibilities while embarking on a new journey as leaders.
