“The Swachhata Hi Seva” Campaign
“The Swachhata Hi Seva” Campaign is being conducted from September 17 to October 2, as a part of India’s ongoing efforts to promote cleanliness and hygiene in the country. Marking the 10th anniversary of the Swachh Bharat Mission, Indian School Jalan conducted a successful cleanliness drive within its campus on 26th September 2024. The program was organized by the YCIS Club, with enthusiastic participation from students of Grades 3 to 5.
The students actively engaged in cleaning the school grounds, showcasing their commitment to maintaining a clean and green environment. Armed with cleaning tools, masks, gloves, and bags, they worked diligently to remove litter, organize areas, and beautify the school campus. The drive aimed not only to clean the surroundings but also to instill a sense of responsibility and awareness about the importance of cleanliness in everyday life.”
