Indian School Jalan organizes Valedictory Ceremony and Annual Award Function

Indian School Jalan hosted a memorable Valedictory Ceremony and Annual Award Function for the outgoing batch of class X students on 16 March. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Mr. Mohammed Ameen, Founder and Managing Director of Sea Pride LLC, as the Chief Guest. Alongside him were Mr. Saeed TP, President of the School Management Committee, and Preetha P S, Academic Chairperson of the School Management Committee and Mrs. Seema Sreedhar, Principal.

The ceremony commenced with a solemn procession of class X students marching with lighted candles, along with the dignitaries and the principal. The lamp was ceremoniously lit to symbolize the educational journey ahead.  Mrs. Vidhyarani L S extended a warm welcome to the chief guest, dignitaries, parents and teachers.

Principal Mrs. Seema Sreedhar blessed the valedictorians and delivered an insightful speech to them, imparting valuable advice and encouragement for their future endeavors. The valedictorians took an oath led by the Principal, pledging their commitment to excellence and integrity. Subsequently, a touching wishing song was dedicated to the valedictorians, expressing heartfelt wishes for their future success.

Citations for the outgoing students were read by Class Teacher, Mrs. Mary Sujitha. Chief Guest Mr. Mohammed Ameen graciously presented Mementos and scrolls to the valedictorians as tokens of appreciation and love from Indian School Jalan, acknowledging the hard work and dedication of the students, thus adding to the significance of the occasion.

After the citations, Joyantika Mallik, the Student Literary Coordinator, took a moment to express heartfelt gratitude on behalf of the Class X students for the immense support and guidance they had received from the Indian school Jalan.

The Council Heads ceremonially handed over the school flag to the Mr. Rajeev P, Physical Education teacher, who in turn, presented it to the Principal, symbolizing the transfer of responsibility and leadership.

Keynote speaker Mr. Saeed T P, President, SMC, emphasized the importance of proper communication between parents and children.

Class X students Adhithyan S and Edith Nkechinyere Onyebueke generously donated potted plants to the school, expressing their commitment to environmental sustainability.

After the generous donation of potted plants, Annual Award Ceremony commenced, during this ceremony, many students were honored with medals and certificates for their outstanding achievements.

At the end, as a token of appreciation and gratitude, the School Management Committee, along with the Principal, felicitated Chief Guest, Mr. Mohammed Ameen with a memento.

The valedictory ceremony concluded with a heartfelt note of thanks proposed by Head Girl, Susmita Mohajan.
